Arizona Lottery Millionaire Raffle – All Sold Out!

First it was the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Millionaire Raffle that was sold out a couple of days before the New Year’s Eve draw; now it’s the turn of the Arizona Lottery who have just announced that all of their Millionaire Raffle tickets are sold out, one day before ticket sales were scheduled to end at midnight tonight (Wednesday, Jan 4).

300,000 Millionaire Raffle tickets were up for grabs and sales stopped when the final ticket was purchased at a Circle K located at 4001 E. Chandler Blvd. in Phoenix. The limited number of tickets offers players the best odds of winning $1 million or one of 1,100 other cash prizes.

The Final Draw takes place on Friday, Jan 6 with a $3 million cash prize pot, including a $1 million first prize, six second place prizes worth $100,000 each, 40 third place prizes worth $10,000 apiece, 750 fourth place prizes worth $1,000 each and 350 fifth place prizes worth $500 each! Hardly surprising then that the Arizona Millionaire Raffle is so popular!

Just a reminder though that Jan 6 is also the date that Spain’s next big raffle, El Nino, is drawn and with a touch over $1 BILLION in the prize pot that’s also pretty popular and unlike the Arizona Millionaire Raffle there are still a few tickets available but not many! No Mega Millions Winner – Next Jackpot Hits $116,000,000

The winning numbers in last evening’s US Mega Millions draw: 4 -12 – 29 – 49 – 51 and Mega Ball: 44 turned out to be as elusive as hen’s teeth, with no outright winner. Nine players – 2 from California, 1 from Illinois, 1 from Michigan, 2 from New York, 1 from Ohio, 1 from Oregon and 1 from Virginia did hit the second prize spot and trousered a not to be sniffed at, $250,000 each, and another 33 players scooped at least ten grand apiece!

The man from Atlanta hits another $1,000,000 payday!

There’s a popular misconception about lightning and whether or not it strikes the same place twice; apparently whatever attracted the lightning in the first instance makes it more likely to strike the same thing again, for example, lightning strikes the Empire State Building several hundred times a year.
