At that time, the couple decided to get a $33.3 million lump-sum payment after taxes for 29 years. The couple commented that after winning the big jackpot of the Powerball, a lot of charities and foundations contacted them.

The couple has always being involved in helping people, even before they won the Powerball. However, now, they said that they are really happy the have the money to invest in an “understudied area”.
