World Record Mega Millions Jackpot – the Final Chapter

Thursday, April 19th, 2012

To use that old hackneyed phrase, “It ain’t over ‘till the fat lady sings.” Well she’s now sung her song and the final chapter in the long running who’s won, who didn’t win, last month’s world record $656 million Mega Millions jackpot has now been written.

There were three winning Mega Millions tickets sold for the March 30, drawing, but it took a week for the first winner – a regular lotto player who decided to remain anonymous – to come forward in Kansas. This led to much speculation and rumour about the identity of the two remaining shareholders until on April 10, a syndicate of three anonymous public school employees from Maryland – known as the “Three Amigos” stepped forward to claim their share of the prize pot which just left one more winner to collect.

Well at a news conference which took place yesterday in Red Bud, a farming community about 40 miles southeast of St. Louis, a retired southern Illinois couple Merle and Patricia Butler laid claim to the third and final share of the record breaking Mega Millions jackpot.

Under lottery rules multi-million dollar winners must appear at a press conference, to “assure other players that prizes are paid to winners”. However in the State of Illinois anonymity is not an option which why the Butlers came forward publicly; the delay gave them time to meet with financial and legal advisers and to allow them to properly prepare for the cameras.

The lucky couple won their share of the booty after buying their ticket at the Moto Mart in Red Bud; additionally Moto Mart’s owner will also receive $500,000 from the lottery as a bonus for selling the winning ticket. So it looks like party time in Red Bud has arrived!

Well there was no jackpot winner in Tuesday’s Mega Millions draw so the jackpot rollover has now risen to a very handy SIXTY FIVE MILLION dollars. Mind you, there was no jackpot winner in yesterday’s Powerball draw either, which means the next Powerball jackpot has climbed to a very, very, very handy indeed ONE HUNDRED and FIFTY TWO MILLION bucks!

As always, if you want in on the action you’ll need a ticket and the place to buy that is right here’s at WinTrillions the world’s largest lottery website, with more games, more jackpots and more chances to win than anywhere else. Remember with WinTrillions you’ll never lose a ticket, never miss a draw and you’re guaranteed to receive your share of prizes whenever you win!

Golf Fanatics Score Thirty Million Lottery Jackpot

Thursday, April 12th, 2012

Bill and Ralph were approaching the first tee. Ralph goes into his golf bag to get a ball and says to his friend, “Hey, why don’t you try this ball.” He draws a green golf ball out of his bag. “You can’t lose it.” Bill replies, “What do you mean you can’t lose it?” Ralph replies, “I’m serious, you can’t lose it. If you hit it into the woods, it makes a beeping sound, if you hit it into the water it produces bubbles, and if you hit it on the fairway, smoke comes up in order for you to find it.”

Obviously, Bill doesn’t believe him, but Ralph shows him all the possibilities until he is convinced. Bill says, “Wow! That’s incredible! Where did you get that ball?” Ralph replies, “I found it!”

Well here’s the very latest golfing tale! There’s a four member syndicate from Langley, British Columbia, Canada who are now nearly THIRTY MILLION dollars richer after “finding” the lottery jackpot in last Friday’s Lotto Max draw. The group of co-workers Ian McMurtie, Wayne Miller, Tom Moryson and Joe Scully, all absolute golfing fanatics, are now planning celebratory golf trips around the globe including Pebble Beach in California and St. Andrews in Scotland.

Of course you don’t have to be a golfer to play the lottery – neither do you need to visit golf courses around the world; in fact you don’t even need to leave the comfort of your own armchair – all you need to do is follow the links right here at WinTrillions, choose, your game, pick your numbers and then sit back and enjoy the ride. Now THAT’S a plan!

Big Lottery Jackpots Mean Throwing Big Parties!

Tuesday, April 10th, 2012

Over the next few days there are some mouth-watering lottery jackpots up for grabs; we’re not just looking at a bottle of wine and box of “choccies” stuff here; but mind-blowing, stupefying, life-changing jackpot prizes worth, MILLIONS!

In just a few hours time it all kicks off, starting with Italy’s SuperEnalotto lottery – 1st prize $107 MILLION, Europe’s EuroMillions – 1st prize $51 MILLION,  USA’s Mega Millions – 1st prize $31 MILLION and Power Combo Syndicate – 1st prize $232 MILLION. Tomorrow, from the USA there’s Powerball – 1st prize $94 MILLION and the Florida Lotto – 1st prize $12 MILLION. There’s also a double whammy from Spain later this week; on Thursday Loteria Nacional has a $16 MILLION 1st prize and on Saturday’s special Loteria Nacional draw there’s $110 MILLION up for grabs!

Winning the top prize in any of these will require serious party celebrations, aka a “Level Four Shindig”; the kind of party where your guests wake up several days from now and immediately call their attorney’s to find out if they’ve been hauled up before the courts for anything.

A Level Four Shindig is one where your guests have hors d’oeuvres smeared all over their bodies, are performing a ritual dance around the burning house plants, and have consumed all ten gallons of alcohol at the party. The piano goes missing!

The best way to get to Level Four is eggnog. To make eggnog, you’ll need rum, whiskey, wine, gin and, eggs. Combine all ingredients in a large, bowl. If you use enough alcohol you won’t have to worry about them getting salmonella poisoning from the eggs – their alcohol toxicity level will eliminate that possibility.

You’ll know that your party is successful when the police knock on your door; it’s deemed VERY successful if the police lob tear gas through your living-room window. As host, your job is to make sure they don’t arrest anybody; or, if they’re dead set on arresting someone, to make sure it isn’t you.

Of course you’ve got to win the lottery first and to do that you need a ticket and the place to buy that ticket is right here at WinTrillions – but you’ll need to act pretty fast as the countdown to riches beyond your wildest dreams ends in just a few short hours – just follow the links and get ready to party – oh, and save a little eggnog for me!

Lottery Winners Dreams!

Saturday, April 7th, 2012

Did I ever tell you about the multi millionaire lottery winner who was bored and at a bit of a loose end one day? To help pass the time he asked his butler to find him 3 guys who might be up for a sporting challenge. A little while later the butler returned with the 3 challenger hopefuls. The millionaire says “OK here’s the deal – the first one who can swim successfully across this pool filled with sharks, eels, and leaches can have whatever he wants for a prize.”

No one replied and the millionaire was about to give up when all of a sudden he heard a splash; looked around to see one of the men swimming as fast as he could, dodging all the sharks, eels, and leaches. The millionaire was mightily impressed that someone had enough guts take up his challenge, went over to congratulate the swimmer and asked him what he wanted for his prize. The swimmer replied somewhat angrily, “I want the fool who pushed me in!”

So have you ever thought about what you would do if you won a big lottery jackpot? Recently New Zealand Lotteries asked that very same question in a survey of 500 adult lottery players. Some of the more unusual responses included: starting a reptile park; buying Chihuahuas; taking a trip to Australia to hunt pigs; buying a flash dog house with under-floor heating; purchasing a castle; becoming a philanthropic goddess; creating a motorbike track and affording fresh starched linen sheets every night.

But when it came down to reality, actual Lotto winners spent their new winnings on fertility treatment, a gastric bypass, Prada shoes, an ambulance, house bus, a restaurant, varicose vein operation, golf clubs, a Rolex watch, helicopter flights and a pottery kiln.

The survey also listed the top 10 lottery player’s dreams:

  1. Travel 23%
  2. Invest the money 11%
  3. Give to charity 7%
  4. Buy a new car or motorbike 7%
  5. Give to family or pay off family member debt 5%
  6. Purchase property or a house 5%
  7. Go on a shopping spree 4%
  8. Put it in the bank / bank it and think about it 4%
  9. Buy clothes 3%
  10. Buy a classic/exotic car or motorbike 3%

So there we have it – the only thing is – to realise any of your own lottery winning dreams you’ve got to have a lottery ticket – the place to get one is right here at WinTrillions where you can play the biggest and richest lotteries in the world and who knows by this time tomorrow you could be organising your very own swimming challenge?
