There are two women called Sharon – Sharon Duncan and Sharon Jones, who were recently in a convenience store in Beebe, a city about 40 miles northeast of Little Rock, Arkansas and are now embroiled in a legal contretemps about the ownership of a lottery ticket worth $1 MILLION.

The court case which was heard in Searcy, Ark. has now been ongoing for some time and reached its conclusion yesterday when the judge gave his final ruling. Not a winner,” she threw the ticket into a nearby trash can.

Sharon number one gets wind of the shenanigans, claims ownership of her discarded ticket, appoints attorneys, and the whole thing now needs a court hearing to finally settle who owns what. Well yesterday White County Judge, Thomas Hughes, after hearing argument from Sharon one’s attorney that she simply made a mistake by throwing away the $1 MILLION ticket, ruled that Jones (Sharon Two) never met the burden of proof that Duncan (Sharon One) had abandoned her right to claim the ONE MILLION dollar prize and Sharon Duncan was entitled to the prize money.
