The drawings are held on Wednesdays as well as Saturdays at 7:57 PM. Players need to pick 5 numbers between 1 and 47 together with an additional number. You need to choose the Mega Number, from numbers between 1 and 27. The draw uses two machines as well as two pairs of balls, one along with rubber balls where the numbers are between 1and 47 and the next used while drawing the Mega Number, along with rubber balls where the numbers are between 1 and 27.

A Californian Super Lotto ticket worth a massive $61 million has been sold in Anaheim, California, but nobody has come forward to claim the massive MegaDraw jackpot. Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets in case they are the lucky winner of the jackpot windfall, which will be given to good causes if it isn’t claimed within six months. A ticket sold in San Francisco’s financial district is the winner of $291, 031. The ticket matched five of the six numbers in The MEGA Millions drawing February 1, 2011. There were two tickets that matched all six numbers, one sold in Indiana and one in Michigan. Those two tickets will share a prize of $91 million.

A couple from Thousand Oaks, California have become overnight millionaires after matching all six numbers in last week’s SuperLotto Plus drawing! The ticket, purchased for Saturday’s drawing, is worth a cool $30 million. After it went unclaimed for a couple of days, the lotto officials announced they were looking for the winners. The winners, Mike and Lynda Weeks, came forward yesterday to claim their multimillionaire prize, and also decided to withhold any private information about themselves so as to maintain as much anonymity as possible. The winning numbers that made the Weeks’ millionaires were 35, 17, 8, 31, 11 and 7.
