Megamillions Winners From Friday’s Drawing

The $24 million Megamillions jackpot was left untouched last Friday but there were three lucky winners that went home with $250,000 USD each after matching all 5 numbers. That’s three lucky players that missed millions by just a single megaball number! The winners come from Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York.

The New York winner nearly didn’t play, but decided to grab a quick pick ticket at the last second when checking out at the grocery store. The ticket stayed on his kitchen counter for more than 24 hours after the drawing until he thought to check the numbers, and when he did, he was instantly $250,000 richer! “I had to check the numbers twice,” he said. “And even then I couldn’t believe it.”
