Mega millions lottery is a multi-state lottery game of the United States. The Mega Millions lottery game includes twelve states namely: Georgia, California, Maryland, Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Texas, Ohio, and Washington.
Mega Millions Lottery draws are held on all Tuesday and Friday nights, in addition to the holidays. The Lottery tickets are valued at a price of $1. Players should choose five different numbers from the board (any number between 1 -56 in addition to an additional number). They need to also pick up a Mega Ball number from 1 -46. A player needs to make six correct guesses for winning the jackpot.
In 1996, this lottery game started under the name of “The Big Game”. In August 1996, the following states participated in Mega Millions: Illinois, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan and Virginia. Drawings were held on every Friday night. However, since 1998 February, the drawings are held on every Tuesday as well. In 1999, May New Jersey also participated in the Mega Millions Lottery.

Charles Clay woke up this past Saturday $10,000 richer. Clay, an auto mechanic from New Jersey, bought various tickets for Friday night’s monstrous $133 million Megadraw. One of those happened to match all numbers but one. The ticket, which is worth a very enjoyable $10,000 third-tier prize, matched all numbers but the first drawn in Friday night’s game. The fortunate player purchased his ticket at a Sunoco station in Elmer, New Jersey. He claims to have been losing a little faith in Mega Millions, but that this win has definitely restored his hopes and that he will continue to play. Congratulations to the lucky winner!

The numbers for Tuesday, August 31, Mega Millions draw were 10, 20, 29, 47, 48 and 38 as Mega number. As of yet, there have been no known jackpot winners. The jackpot, a cool $12 million, could go up to $16 million if it continues this way.

The Mega Millions jackpot has finally found an owner! After numerous rollovers, the astounding $133 million prize was scored in Morro Bay, California for Friday night’s Megadraw. The winning combination was 4, 10, 26, 32, 41 and Mega Ball 31. Also, there were 5 second-tier prize winning tickets sold for the draw, the tickets matched 5 numbers to win $250,000 each. Congratulations to the new Mega Millionaire!
