Dave Simmons has beat the odds. Twice.

The lucky man has won the lottery not just once, but twice. The first time he won nearly a quarter million dollars, and this past week he just won another check worth $20,000 USD.

The two wins were within a month of one another.

“I checked my (second) ticket at the store,” Simmons said. “I feel fantastic and I am very pleased.”

Married, Simmons said he planned to use part of his double windfall to help out his church and take a trip.
