Friday, August 27th, 2010

Imagine waking up one day to find you’re £1.5 million richer? Well, that’s exactly what happened to South Yorkshire resident Graham Pyatt. Pyatt, an avid fan of the UK National Lottery, has been playing for years. He recently opened an account on the popular british lottery’s website so he could play online and not have to go through the hassle of going to a store. The 64-year-old grandfather took four days to realize he had picked the winning numbers in the National Lottery’s latest draw. It was when he logged on to buy more tickets that he saw what he had won. “When it said I was a winner I couldn’t believe it. I got my son to come round and confirm it was true”. Due to medical problems, Pyatt will not be able to travel round the world like most lotto winners, although he’s more than happy to stay at home with his wife and make sure the needs of his son and is family are taken care of.
