The couple have no plans to move from their home where they’ve spent 28 years of their lives. Stan said: “We’re the same people as we were before. The silly thing is, we still worry about money.”
Stan is a retired council ground worker and he is 64 years old and Pat, his wife, is 61 years old. After winning they have only bought a caravan and a car. Stan, of Eye, Suffolk, said: “We didn’t have any spare cash and were just keeping our heads above water.”
