Second Winner of $12.5 Million A Former CPA

The second winner of the biggest lottery jackpot in Canadian history are Martin and Marlene Neva, a 65-year old couple that has recently retired.

They bought their winning tickets as they always do, but when they found out that they would not just win a few dollars but a massive jackpot, the couple was ecstatic.

“A month ago, I felt like I was going to win something. I just felt internally, I was going to win something and for the last couple of weeks, there’s been nothing. Couldn’t even get a single number on a ticket. And Wednesday’s draw, I had three numbers for $10.”

When he checked his numbers on the last ticket late saturday night, he knew the moment had come.

“I had the first number and I checked off the second number and a third number and I said ‘this is getting serious.’

“I woke Marlene up, and didn’t sleep for the rest of the night.”
