Twenty people won last week’s lotto jackpot with the numbers:1-2-3-4 and 5. The $50,000 prize was divided between the 20 people and they got around $2,000 each one.

Benjamin Perez is one of the lotto winners and he said:“Not a lot of money but I will pay my bills. If I win a lot of money I will build my house. I want to win a good amount one of these days so I can build my house.”

While Virginia Vaughan, a lotto player commented: “John Codd came to my house and asked me if I bought the number and he told me that I win but I did not believe him. They know that I always buy lotto so I thought that they were just joking. I found out that so many other people won yesterday when I came into the office. Everybody has to get a bit of the cherry but I will keep playing lotto because I will win by myself.”

Michael Sanchez is a 21-year-old college student from Hicksville and he is the new lottery winner of the Sweet Million game!

He has been playing lottery since he as 19 years old and he always pays twice a week. HE bought his ticket on October 5th at the Citgo on Newbridge Road.

Sanchez was watching the “The Big Lebowski” when he checked his ticket online and he realized he had won!
“Just to see those numbers match, I was like, wow!” he said. “I never hit any numbers.”

The lucky numbers were: 7, 19, 22, 24, 34 and 35.

There is a lucky lotto winner! The MegaMillion Lottery worth $200 million was hit by a current citizen of the town of Shenandoah.

This is the second largest jackpot in the Virgina Lottery and everybody is so excited about the great news!

“It’s been a very big experience for us today. I got a call this morning and all that we had a $200-million winner. Somebody local,” says James Crump.

Mr. Crump also says: “Does it randomly. He doesn’t put, invest a lot of money into it. But he’ll say, ‘Give me a ticket for Wednesday night or Friday night.”

Susan Plum is a neighbor of Steve and Kathy Williams’ and their daughter, Whitney, and heard the news Saturday morning.

“We’ve been so excited to think of the news of a local person, somebody right here that has worked so hard all their life to win money like this. I think it’s great,” says Plum.
