Email Informs Man He Won the Jackpot

Graham Forrest had just gotten into work and was checking his mail when his life changed in a moment.

There in the inbox was an email from the National Lottery saying that they had some “Exciting News” for Mr Forrest.

“I clicked through expecting £10, and couldn’t believe it when I saw the figure “2.7 million.”

He called his wife immediately to share the good news, but she wouldn’t believe him until he put on a colleague to confirm his good fortune.

The win means that the mother-of-four can give up her job as a night cleaner at Kendal College. Her husband plans to buy himself a Manchester United season ticket and a racehorse for one of his colleagues.

“It’s something I’d like to do,” he explained. “It’s always been an ambition.”
