Single Winner To Take Home $42 Million Megamillions Jackpot

OCT 6th – Michigan Lottery officials are still waiting to hear from the multi-millionaire that won $42 million in Friday night’s drawing. Chances are, they still have no idea just how rich they’ve become!

The winning ticket was sold in Stoney Creek Liquor Shoppe and winner has the option to claim the jackpot in a 26 year annuity or a lump sum of $26.3 million in a single payment.

“Its not uncommon for winners to not realize they’ve won, sometimes for weeks,” a lottery official said. “They buy the ticket, stick it on the fridge and forget to check the numbers. Now that the news is out that a winner from that particular store needs to step forward, we’re sure we’ll be receiving a very excited phone call soon.”
