77-year-old Al Nanni has just become the fifth New York Lotto millionaire from Onondaga County in two months! The Fayetteville resident hit the million-dollar jackpot last week on a New York Lotto Emerald 8’s instant scratch-off game. The ticket, which cost him $5, was purchased at DeWitt Wegman’s, where Nanni goes every day “to shop and play [his] daily numbers”. The septuagenarian came up with a slogan which he shared at his award ceremony this week: “No scratch, no cash!”

The Florida Lotto is a another one that will be playing a bigger jackpot for the weekend. The $17 million up for grabs in the tropical state found no owner in Wednesday night’s draw, which means that Saturday’s Florida Lotto game has gone up to a cool $19 million! Even though nobody managed to match all 6 numbers, there were still a whopping 32 tickets that matched 5 of those 6. Most of them took home over $6,000 each, but three of them were lucky enough to use the Xtra multiplier and turned that number into almost $25,000 apiece!

Powerball’s prize has taken a big jump to $47 million for Saturday night’s draw! Nobody took home the jackpot for Wednesday night’s game, meaning a new rollover and a new grand prize. Nonetheless, there were still numerous lower-tier winners all over.
